On Saturday, September 26th, 2026, the DIX30 District in Brossard hosted the start of the Women’s Elite race at the 2026 UCI Road World Championships, offering the Brossard community an exceptional moment of sports, community gathering, and international exposure.
The Cite Universitaire de la Santé Des Femmes (CUSDF) was proud to be there to experience this moment alongside the community, partners, elected officials, volunteers, and everyone who helped make these two days a resounding success. Several CUSDF ambassadors were also on site to take part in this celebration and share the CUSDF’s values with the community.
Beyond the athletic competition, this event highlighted values that are dear to us: physical activity, prevention, well-being, and women’s health. Investing in women’s health means investing in a stronger, healthier, and more resilient society.
The CUSDF would like to commend the remarkable work of the City of Brossard, Mayor Doreen Assaad, her team, and all the organizers, volunteers, and partners who contributed to the success of this international event.
These days also provided an opportunity for numerous meetings and valuable exchanges with individuals committed to our community. They demonstrate Brossard’s ability to rally around unifying projects and to make an impact far beyond its borders.
We are so proud to see Brossard shine on the international stage and to participate in an event that celebrates sports, women, and the community.
The CUSDF is pleased to continue its commitment to an integrated vision of women’s health, in which physical activity, prevention, and well-being play an essential role.
